Y&R’s Zuleyka Silver reveals a secret detail of Audra’s that no one noticed. Poor thing.

Zuleyka Silver admits that her onscreen alter ego’s growth has been “slow,” since Audra loves to scheme and seek revenge on her enemies.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been three years since Audra Charles arrived in Genoa City. The Young and the Restless star Zuleyka Silver has been having a lot of fun playing her. But now, she wants to focus on her potential growth.
What’s Next For Audra Charles?
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Silver remarked that time flies by fast, especially on daytime television. However, Audra’s own growth has been “slow” to start. She noticed a slight “evolution” with her onscreen alter ego, where she showed a little bit of vulnerability.
But now, she’s going back to her bad girl ways. “I feel like three years, but then it doesn’t when I look at her growth. It’s been kind of slow,” Silver said. Audra let her guard down when she was in a relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic) and bonded with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford).
“I’ve just been trying to discover how I can add different layers to her,” Silver explained. “Just getting to know her and her past more, and why she acts the way she does.”
Currently, Audra wants to stir up as much trouble with Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor), especially since they want to get back at her for messing with their relationship. But she’s just spiraling, not scheming.
Slow-Burning Storyline
Audra’s backstory is a slow-burning storyline in the making. When she first joined GC’s elite, she was a cunning and wicked businesswoman who would do anything to get ahead. She joined forces with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), who is currently serving time in prison somewhere.
Although she embraced a softer side with Nate, she’s gone back to her scheming ways. She struck up a deal with Victor (Eric Braeden) that nearly cost her everything. Now, everyone wants to run her out of town after she ruined Kyle and Claire’s relationship.
But Audra’s not going away quietly. She’s going to stir trouble while she’s at it. Y&R viewers deserve to learn more about Audra, especially after three years. It would help the audience to connect with her and understand why she’s so thirsty for wealth and power, despite hating the most powerful families of Genoa City.
