Tragic Fate! Hot Update!! Martin Grey Drops Breaking News! It will shock you!
Today, we’re diving into some intriguing General Hospital spoilers and rumors that pose a serious question: Is Martin Gray, played by Michael E. Knight, working with someone else to take Sonny Corinthos, portrayed by Maurice Benard, down for good?
Recently, Sonny hired Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to track Martin down to represent Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). However, during Martin’s visit to Alexis in Pentonville, he revealed a shocking twist. He told her that the only way to exonerate herself would be to prove who the real murderer of John Jagger’s Kate was, identifying Adam J. Harrington as the real killer. He further stated that the man paying his bills—Sonny—was actually the one she needed to prove murdered Kate.
This situation raises a significant conflict of interest for Martin. It seems odd that he would take Sonny’s money while simultaneously advising Alexis to prove that Sonny is the real murderer. So, could Martin be secretly working with someone else to finally take down Sonny?
One possible suspect is Valentin Cassadine, played by James Patrick Stuart. There is a history of family loyalty within the Cassadine family, which might lead Valentin to team up with Martin against Sonny. Although Valentin has been on the run, there are several reasons he might want to collaborate with Martin to take Sonny down, aside from loyalty to his cousin Alexis.
For one, Valentin might not want Sonny exposed as the one who ordered his bipolar meds to be made placebos. A couple of people are aware of this situation; however, it might be a worthy trade-off if it means getting the mob boss off the streets for good. The pharmacist involved is currently in hiding, along with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
But that’s not the only possibility. Another person Martin could be working with is Jack Brennan, played by Charles Shaughnessy. Bringing Sonny down might be a contingency for Jack to remain free and the local head of the WSB office. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knows Jack is hiding something and has been calling him out. Why else would he focus on Sonny’s ex-wife if he wasn’t smitten?
The other thing he might be hiding, besides Valentin, could be his intention to bring Sonny to justice in a way the FBI was unable to. Therefore, Martin’s defense of Alexis—hinting that she could help him prove Sonny killed Kate—makes sense if he’s working with someone else.
The only other way to exonerate or at least introduce reasonable doubt that Alexis or Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mancy) didn’t kill Kate would be to find the gun—the one Alexis threw in the river—that won’t match the bullets taken from Kate’s body. It’s also worth noting that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) melted down the real gun.
