The Rinse: Identity of the person who destroyed Monica’s memorial at the General Hospital revealed

As the celebration of Monica’s life got underway on the September 25, 2025 episode of General Hospital, more than one person crashed the emotional event for The Quartermaines.
Monica’s Greatest Frenemies
After everyone from Q’s to Spencers to Falconeris piled into the church, notable people in Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) life spoke one by one about the wonderful woman she was. Speeches were made by Laura (Genie Francis) and Ned (Wally Kurth), but when it came time for Tracy (Jane Elliot) to speak about her best frenemy, she froze.
Everyone in the church turned to whispers, wondering why Tracy wasn’t speaking, until someone finally took her place at the podium: Lucy (Lynn Herring). Lucy immediately reminded everyone what she and Monica had in common…the Nurses Ball.
Of course, Lucy being Lucy, she kept her filter off as she continued to note that she and Monica also had Alan (the late Stuart Damon) in common. Lucy bought Tracy some time, but when Tracy still refused to speak, Jason (Steve Burton), in very un-stonecold fashion, took the initiative to thank everyone for coming to remember his mother.
The Real Funeral Crasher
Jason was followed by Michael (Rory Gibson), who spoke about memories of his grandmother. Just as Tracy silently assured everyone that she wasn’t going to be speaking, the real crasher rolled into the church: Drew (Cameron Mathison). Suit and tie sitting in a wheelchair, Drew had made it clear to Martin (Michael E. Knight) that he would be attending his mother’s funeral whether The Quartermaines liked it or not.
General Hospital spoilers for September 26 tease the moment many ABC daytime fans have been waiting for: the debut of Erika Slezak. The One Life To Live alum’s role is still under wraps, but it’s safe to assume she’s the mystery phone call Martin made after learning of Monica’s passing.
