SO SAD! General Hospital Fans Are Tuning Away From The Show For This Reason!

Hopefully this is not a trend that’s going to last for too long. That’s because a lot of General Hospital fans have made it pretty clear that they are tuning out more than they are tuning in to the hit ABC soap.

That’s mostly because they are finding the most current storylines rather boring. And no, we are not making this up at all.

While the month of May was certainly exciting with the return of Michael Corinthos, the reveal of Gio’s biological parents and of course, the Nurse’s Ball, it seems like there is nothing left to expect from our father characters in this fictional town of Port Charles.

Of course, General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “Honestly, most of May sweeps was boring minus the last week/Nurse’s Ball week. This past week with the custody trial was more interesting than most of the sweeps month as well.”

What’s Next In Port Charles?

“And Friday’s episode (while still interesting enough) was obviously calm after all the commotion. That said, I probably won’t continue watching much longer as I’m not a fan of what’s been done to Lucky.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “Is the concept of sweeps still relevant? Now they get data from streaming so quickly. I guess maybe for advertising revenue. Typically in between sweeps GH sets up the stories for the next sweeps period.”

“Personally, I enjoyed seeing the Gio reveal unfold, the Nurses Ball and the Drillow-NuMichael. Tracy was great.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I still see a lot of positives. The writing is still conversational and sensible. Scenes flow in reasonable length without being as short and jumpy. They very carefully introduced Michael.”

“He didn’t overwhelm the show like the intros of Lulu, Cody, and others. Sidwell and fam are back in action. Drunk Natalia is probably the best Natalia so far/”

It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
