So Heartbreaking, GH Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) Just Confirmed What We All Were Suspected!
General Hospital fans in the Chicago area are in for a treat in September. Laura Wright, (Carly Spencer) will be live on stage at The Comedy Vault in Batavia on Saturday, September 6, joined by her co-star Eden McCoy, (Josslyn Jacks). Notably, though, there have been some changes to the event.
Changes To The Meet & Greet
Originally, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) was scheduled to appear alongside Wright, but plans changed. On Instagram, Laura shared the update with fans: “Life happens and sometimes schedules change 
,” she wrote.
“Our Chicago event will look a little different than planned—while we’re so bummed that Finola Hughes can’t make it due to last-minute schedule conflicts, we are beyond excited to announce that Eden McCoy will be joining me instead! ”
She added, “This is Eden’s first live fan event in almost two years, so let’s make it extra special with a big warm welcome (and lots of hugs.”
The real-life Carly Spencer went on to explain, “Batavia we are so ready for you—and dinner together is going to be unforgettable.”
Laura Wright ended by saying, “Can’t wait to see all of you there!”
Still A Good Event
Eden McCoy is popular, so the announcement still promises an exciting day for soap fans.
For longtime GH viewers, seeing two stars from different generations of the Corinthos family together on stage is a nice chance to hear behind-the-scenes stories and enjoy some live interaction.
According to Coastal Entertainment, the event runs for 75 to 90 minutes. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and show begins at 1:00 p.m.
Ticket options include General Admission at $45 and VIP admission at $99. VIP guests get an opportunity to be part of a special post-show meet and greet, which includes “limited autographs (one autograph per star) and then photo ops.”
The Comedy Vault also supplied some important guidelines. The show isn’t open to kids younger than 16, and there is a two-item minimum purchase required per guest.
Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be resold. The original purchaser must be present at check-in, and anyone hoping to give tickets as a gift should purchase a gift card instead. You will need to arrive at least 30 minutes early to complete box office check-in.
