Why can’t General Hospital let Sasha be happy? It looks like another round of “Sasha is crazy,” with Chase leading the way.
With Friends Like This…
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) can’t catch a break. She lost her husband and baby son, was put in a mental hospital against her will, was almost killed, and found out her boyfriend was her cousin. To top it all off, Holly (Emma Samms) is her mother.
Sasha appeared to have her happy ending. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, had Michael (Rory Gibson) in her corner but not on the birth certificate, and was happy in her job. We can’t figure out why she likes working for the Qs, but she actually enjoys being there.
Poor little Daisy (Levi Clark Coughlin) is being stalked by Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who seems to have finally lost it. Sasha knows that something isn’t right, but it is her sanity that is now in question.
First, Ned (Wally Kurth) gave her the side-eye when she said that someone moved her baby. But it was her good friend Chase (Josh Swickard) who said out loud that she may be “imagining” it.
He encouraged the idea that it might only be postpartum or exhaustion, and that they should keep an eye on the new mom.
Chase is being problematic by blaming Sasha and not looking into what is really going on. Some detective. The one person who will take her side is Cody (Josh Kelly), who has previously come to her rescue. Too bad they are cousins.
What Year Is It?
It is 2025, and with all the technology the Quartermaines have at their fingertips, why hasn’t anyone spotted Willow sneaking around the mansion?
Michael explained that there are no cameras in the baby’s room because the cameras caught Willow and Drew (Cameron Mathison), and he doesn’t want that to happen again.
Does he really think that someone is going to sneak into the baby’s room to have sex while she’s sleeping? Even if there are no cameras in the nursery, there should be cameras all over the estate, which would have caught Willow.
They do have a baby monitor, which is how Sasha heard her daughter crying. How did she hear Daisy but not hear Willow, who had a full conversation with a newborn? This storyline is slightly unbelievable.
We just hope that Chase and others aren’t gaslighting Sasha right back into being institutionalized. Do you think this is where GH is heading? Let us know in the comments section.
