General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Ava Jerome (Maura West), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are somewhat undisturbed with the idea of keeping Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) tied up in the basement, sedated; however, could a near-fatal emergency blow up their plan (and peace of mind)?

Ric has had two major blows to the head and received no medical attention for them. On top of that, Ava is pumping him with sleeping pills.

While sleep is good for a concussion, who’s to say that Ric doesn’t have swelling on his brain that could be dire, or even internal bleeding, for that matter?

This is the land of soaps, where a hit to the head with a lamp can cause a character’s demise, while someone can be shot in the back twice and still live.

Of course, daytime drama writers craft up unbelievable storylines, yet make them oh-so believable, but could Ric be sitting on some serious medical issues that are festering?

To an untrained eye, he may seem fine, but as the ladies don’t know his health history, Ric could be a ticking time bomb.

Alexis, Ava, and Kristina are days away from putting this mess behind them, but what happens if Ric suffers a near-fatal medical emergency?

Could he start hemorrhaging? Foaming at the mouth or throwing up? Would the ladies allow him to just pass away without getting him help?

Would they rush him to the hospital and just leave him there?

Either scenario would have serious repercussions and consequences – both situations increase their chances of getting caught, and people figuring out what they’ve been up to.

There’s little chance that Ric will meet his demise, but if he did, the three women would have to struggle to “clean things up” and find a way to hide his body.

Alternatively, if they dropped him off at the hospital, they risk being seen, either by someone in person or a video camera.

Plus, depending on when Ric’s medical emergency occurs, will the money they are waiting for be on the cusp of clearing, or will this happen a day or two before it occurs?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Ava, Alexis, and Kristina’s “Ric plan” has been running a little too smoothly so far, so it sounds like the ladies could face a bump in the road very soon!
