Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) concealed a bottle of vodka beneath the bed just as Xander (Paul Telfer) showed up, hoping to see Victoria.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) fibbed to Jada (Elia Cantu) about his car being stolen, but she coerced him to file a report, suspecting a link between the car thief and Sarah’s mishap.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) caught Chad (Billy Flynn) gazing at an old photo of himself with Abigail and comforted him regarding “Abigail’s” (AnnaLynne McCord) identity after a DNA match.  Abigail met with Dr. Mark Greene, who aided her charade as Abigail DiMera.

Chad challenged “Abigail” on her memory, leading her to feel overwhelmed and threaten to leave.

Chad apologized and urged her to return home.

In the hospital, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) shared her own experience of loss and adaptation with Sarah after her parents’ death, encouraging Sarah to embrace her feelings and adapt to her new situation.

Kristen, talking to Stefano’s portrait, admitted to flattening Brady’s car to safeguard their family.

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) questioned her story and warned her against speaking secrets aloud.  Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) discussed their concerns about Brady’s potential role in the accident.

Brady, visibly distressed, asked Holly for a moment alone with Tate.  Tate apologized for his deceit.

Xander arrived, and Tate expressed remorse for Sarah’s accident, which Brady also quietly agonized over.  Holly, distressed, realized her actions might have contributed to Sarah’s fate.

EJ directed Jada to arrest Brady upon learning he was the primary suspect.  Kristen overheard and was distressed.
