Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arnold Feniger’s (Galen Gering) return to Salem will shake things up for more than just EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Although EJ is hoping to get rid of his new houseguest, Arnold is going to stick around and cause trouble instead.
That brings us to some Days spoilers for the week of December 30-January 3. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will end up clashing with a familiar foe, so he’s obviously going to tangle with his old lookalike.
Arnold will emerge victorious in that showdown since he’s about to take Rafe’s place and perhaps stash the real Rafe somewhere.
Days spoilers indicate that Arnold will try to pass himself off as Rafe, but Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will immediately grow suspicious.
Jada will realize her groom-to-be seems different right off the bat, so she’ll no doubt question “Rafe” about why he’s acting so weird.
“Rafe” might claim his new PI job brings fewer rules and makes him want to let loose in his personal life, too.
Even so, DOOL spoilers say Jada will sense that something strange is going on. Since Jada brings plenty of investigative skills to the table, she’ll see some clues and warning signs along the way.
However, Arnold could have a couple things working to his advantage here.
There’s already been some tension in Jada and Rafe’s relationship due to their conflicting investigations, so that’s something Arnold can lean into if need be.
Plus, Rafe just went through a major career change after being treated unfairly at the Salem PD.
It naturally stung for Rafe to get injured on the job and then lose his position to Jada once he recovered.
Arnold could ultimately act like Rafe isn’t past all that drama and use that to fuel the conflict as well.
Despite Jada’s questions about Rafe’s sudden personality change, he may insist he’s just a different person after everything he’s been through.
Jada might even start wondering if there are brain complications related to Rafe’s coma that are just now presenting themselves.
Whatever the case, Jada will quickly determine that something seems unusual about “Rafe,” so she’ll be monitoring him closely. How long will Arnold be able to keep Jada in the dark about the Rafe switch?
Based on our Days predictions, Jada’s romance could get derailed quickly once Arnold begins posing as Rafe, so stay tuned for updates on all the chaos he’ll unleash.
