Hold onto your seats Days of Our Lives fans, as an iconic character just hinted at their comeback! Our favorite DOOL alum, Peter Reckell, might just return to reprise the iconic role of Bo Brady. After being thought dead and cryogenically frozen for almost a decade, Bo has been in a coma for over a year.
Mind you, his own son, Shawn did the honors due to some misunderstanding. Now, Hope, Belle, and Shawn have been in Greece, watching over him and waiting for him to wake up. According to Peter, they might soon get a reward for their patience. Check it out below!
Peter Reckell’s Tease Thrills DOOL Viewers
The team behind the YouTube show Dishin’ Days, which is all about DAYS, recently popped a question to Reckell. They asked how they could give him a special coffee mug. His response was quite the teaser! He responded, “With any luck, I will be at the studio soon, and I can get them from you there. Thanks!” This shady reply got DAYS buffs buzzing. They all have a burning question: Will Bo wake up from his coma and reunite with Hope?
Peter clarified, “I’m hoping that they find a way to wake Bo up soon, so he can be with his family.” fans were so happy when Reckell and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) made a comeback to Days of Our Lives last year. They were excited for their characters to be together again in Salem. However, since Shawn mistakenly shot his father, Bo and Hope had very few scenes together. Shawn thought he was protecting his mother.
At the time, little did he know that Bo had just started to remember who he was right before the shooting. It was because the character had woken up from his cryogenic state with little memory of his past. Anyway, Reckell has been open about returning to the ex-NBC soap. Earlier, the show announced that Alfonso would be in scenes for Bill Hayes’ and Doug Williams‘ memorial episodes airing in December.
Fans got their hopes high and asked Reckell if he’d join. He replied, “I would have loved to, but no.” Furthermore, a fan shared a video of Hope discovering Bo was alive last year. The DOOL icon saw the clip and shared his wish to continue the story he and Alfonso began in 2023. He acknowledged going through obstacles and overcoming them in his tweet. The actor added, “Once again, there was the music box moment. I would like to see the continuation of this story.”
So, if Reckell returns to the soap soon, we might see Alfonso again in 2025.
