According to the General Hospital spoilers, Nicholas Chavez is no longer in the cast. He nabbed the lead role in the Netflix project, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Chavez originally stated that he wouldn’t return to the role of Spencer Cassadine, which he’s played since 2021.
He was interested in pursuing an acting career outside of the show. Spencer Cassadine fell off the boat to his death in the dark waters below. However, his body was never found. Spencer’s name has popped up a lot in recent episodes. This led some GH fans to believe he could return to Port Charles.
General Hospital fans took to Reddit to discuss this possibility. They were divided on whether the role should be recast. Some argued that Spencer Cassadine and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) should end on good terms. Others can’t see another actor fulfilling this iconic role.
