Janelle, who shared Garrison with her ex-husband, Kody Brown, posted an emotional message alongside a picture of him holding a cat. “I stay busy, but in every quiet moment, you are first and foremost in my thoughts. It’s been a year, baby. We miss you so much. I miss you so much,” she wrote.

In her post, Janelle also encouraged her followers to consider supporting animal shelters and rescues, a cause close to Garrison’s heart. She revealed that her son had adopted all three of his beloved cats from shelters and emphasized the importance of contributing to such organizations in his memory.

The 55-year-old concluded her tribute by sharing mental health resources, urging anyone in crisis to seek help. She provided information for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (988) and the Crisis Text Line (text TALK to 741741), reinforcing the need for awareness and support for those struggling with mental health challenges.

Janelle was not alone in remembering Garrison on this difficult day. Fellow Sister Wives stars Christine Brown and Meri Brown also paid tribute to him. Christine shared on Instagram that she had been watching an old video of Garrison helping her move, stating, “My heart aches without him, and every photo, video, memory, joke, and story with him in it is infinitely more precious than ever. Access Hollywood had previously reported on Garrison’s passing, confirming that the Flagstaff Police Department in Arizona responded to a call at his home on March 5, 2024. Upon arrival, officers met with his sibling, Gabe, and discovered that Garrison had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Janelle’s tribute serves as a reminder of the lasting impact of loss and the importance of mental health awareness. Her message encourages love, remembrance, and action in Garrison’s honor, keeping his memory alive while advocating for causes he deeply cared about.
