Joss has already broken up with him, leading him to a police confession – exposing himself and Sonny. How will the mobster react to this new trouble?
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Sonny About To Go To Prison, and Dex Six Feet Under?
Moved by Joss’ reaction and heartbreak upon learning his “nature of work”, Dex decided that penance was his only way to redemption, per General Hospital spoilers. Thus, in the recently aired episode, he decided to make a full detailed confession to Anna.
He confessed to Cyrus’ attempted murder on Sonny’s orders. He even tattled the whole tale about how Michael installed him in Sonny’s organization. Next, Dex opens yet another can of worms by dragging Pikeman into his confession by mentioning Sonny involvement in moving their illegal arms.
Way to go buddy, you just put an additional target on your back! Well, thanks to Anna, he got a few extra days to live! General Hospital spoilers reveal that Anna finds the confession rather lack luster. She tells him that it will all come down to his word against Sonny’s.
So while, she isn’t sure if the confession will put Sonny in jail, it would certainly put Dex in a grave. She then asks him to leave. Which he does, but with an open offer to help her “take down Sonny.” Well, that’s just begging to be shot dead, Dex!
Sooner or later word is going to travel to Sonny that Dex tried to turn him in.
What will happen then? Carly saved him bum last time around, but we doubt he would get that lucky twice. Besides, he has also thrown Pikeman in the mix!
Sure, Brennan is in the slammer, but he still has contacts and strings that he could pull. Moreover, he won’t be as forgiving as Sonny, nor does he have a Dex- protector in his ear. All in all, the boy better be watching his back! We can’t see this ending well for him.
General Hospital spoilers tease that FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) is making a lot of enemies in Port Charles. But the greatest threat to Cates may be from someone he currently trusts.
As viewers know, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just threw Cates out of the Metro Court after he went back on his deal to release Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from the FBI’s control. Cates has a recording of Carly admitting to taking over the leadership of the criminal Corinthos crime organization.

Carly confronted Cates very publicly in the Metro Court’s lobby. She dared Cates to arrest her and that is exactly what he did.
So while Jason and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) work on Carly’s legal strategy, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) seems ready to take matters into his own hands by removing Cates permanently.
And while Sonny is definitely capable of killing Cates, he wouldn’t make such a bold move if he was thinking clearly.
GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Wants To Take Sonny Corinthos Down
Months ago, Ava stumbled upon the fact that someone had altered Sonny’s bi-polar medication so that he was only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.
For weeks, Ava kept quiet as Sonny slowly began to unravel. But when Sonny decided to fight Ava for sole custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola); Ava decided to blackmail Sonny’s pharmacist to completely replace Sonny’s medication with placebos.
Her plan was to have Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) provoke Sonny’s in court and watch as he goes off the rails in front of the judge.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is Capable Of Murder
But with Sonny spiraling out of control now, Ava may alter her plans. If she realizes that Sonny is angry enough with Cates to want him dead, she may take matters into her own hands. Cates has offered Ava his support in her custody battle but Ava is loyal only to herself.
There is every possibility that if Sonny fails to kill Cates, then she will finish the job and make sure authorities believe that Sonny is the killer. Ava once murdered Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward) so she is quite capable of murder. John may not live to regret trusting Ava!
