Heartbreaking! Sad Update!! Ingo Rademacher Drops Breaking News! It will shock you!

Former General Hospital Star Ingo Rademacher Fights to Reopen Lawsuit Against ABC
Former General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher, known for his role as Jasper “Jax” Jacks, is taking legal action once again, requesting that his lawsuit against ABC for alleged wrongful termination be reopened. In a new development, Rademacher has now brought former co-star Steve Burton, who played Jason Morgan, into the dispute.
A History with General Hospital
Rademacher first joined the cast of General Hospital in 1996 and remained on the show until 2013. After brief appearances in 2016, he returned in 2019 for another stint. However, in November 2021, his time on the show came to an abrupt end when ABC dismissed him due to his refusal to comply with the network’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The policy was put in place to ensure safety during the height of the pandemic.
The Initial Lawsuit
In December 2021, Rademacher filed a lawsuit against ABC, claiming that his request for a religious exemption from the vaccine was wrongfully denied. He argued that his termination constituted religious and disability discrimination as well as political retaliation.
ABC, however, countered these claims, stating that Rademacher’s stance on the vaccine was not religious in nature. Additionally, the network argued that General Hospital producers had already been discussing writing off his character before the vaccine mandate took effect. By June 2023, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled in favor of ABC, dismissing Rademacher’s case.
New Developments and Allegations
Despite the ruling, Rademacher is now demanding that the case be reopened, citing new evidence that he believes supports his claim of political discrimination. According to In Touch, Rademacher’s legal team is pointing to ABC’s decision to rehire Steve Burton, another General Hospital actor who was let go for not complying with the same vaccine mandate.
Like Rademacher, Burton refused to get the vaccine and exited the show in 2021. However, rather than pursuing legal action, Burton took on the role of Harris Michaels on Days of Our Lives during his time away. In January 2024, General Hospital announced Burton’s return as Jason Morgan following the lifting of the vaccine mandate. Rademacher argues that this rehire contradicts ABC’s previous justification for his dismissal and supports his claim that his firing was politically motivated.
Additionally, Rademacher alleges that General Hospital producers were already considering recasting the role of Jax and planning his exit from the show before the vaccine policy was even implemented. He insists that his firing was not about health and safety but was instead driven by his political beliefs.
ABC’s Response and the Ongoing Appeal
ABC has strongly opposed Rademacher’s request to reopen the case, maintaining that his dismissal was lawful and not politically motivated. However, Rademacher remains determined in his legal battle, as his appeal continues to unfold.
With this latest development, the lawsuit is once again making headlines, reigniting discussions among General Hospital fans and the entertainment industry alike. Whether Rademacher’s new claims will be enough to reverse the previous ruling remains to be seen, but for now, the legal drama surrounding his dismissal is far from over.
