Heart-Stopping Moment! Molly’s Confession to TJ Will Leave You Speechless 😢

Laura’s Dilemma with Heather’s Case

In Laura’s office, she thanked Alexis for stopping by and quickly asked about the article in the Raider that exposed Laura’s efforts to help Heather. Laura had a hard time believing that Alexis had anything to do with it, even though it was Alexis’ paper. Alexis revealed that the culprit was Adrien DT, known for his relentless pursuit of clickbait captions.

Laura pointed out that the information about her request for Heather’s court records had been leaked. Alexis admitted it was possible but defended her belief in the First Amendment and freedom of the press. Laura recalled that Alexis couldn’t provide an answer about a possible pathway to appeal Heather’s case without reviewing the court files. Laura handed Alexis Heather’s court file, and Alexis, upon reviewing it, conceded there might be grounds for an appeal.

Laura clarified that she did not wish to excuse Heather’s crimes, as she believed Heather should be penalized. However, she questioned whether Heather was in control of her actions due to cobalt poisoning. Laura believed Alexis could argue that Heather’s actions were beyond her control. However, Alexis explained that Laura would need to find another attorney since Alexis could no longer practice law.

Alexis suggested that any competent counsel would agree there were grounds to renew Heather’s case. Laura asked what the next step should be. Alexis was confident that Laura could easily find a lawyer, as it was an intriguing case. Laura asked for a recommendation, but Alexis wanted more time to look into the case. Alexis warned that once Heather’s case was set in motion, Laura would not be able to control the outcome, which could be unpredictable.

Laura was skeptical that Heather would be set free. Alexis explained that the decision would depend on the judge, the legal arguments, and precedent. Heather could receive a reduced sentence, be moved to another facility, or even be released outright. Laura was shocked and claimed that the last thing she wanted was for Heather to go free. She acknowledged that the families of Heather’s victims would have every right to be outraged if that happened.

Alexis advised Laura to drop the case and walk away, but Laura couldn’t justify leaving Heather in maximum security for the rest of her life just to make her own life easier. Alexis was relieved she wasn’t a practicing attorney anymore. Laura asked what the old Alexis Davis would have said about the case. Alexis admitted that she would have said if the justice system decided Heather deserved a lesser sentence or freedom, then let the law take its course.

Trina’s Visit

Moments later, Trina knocked on the door and asked to speak with Laura after Alexis left. Laura admitted that she had an idea why Trina was there. “I don’t suppose you do,” Trina said solemnly.

Molly’s Confession

In Molly’s office, TJ stood in the doorway as Molly left a voicemail for her mother, asking if Alexis had heard from Christina. Molly explained that she wasn’t upset; she just wanted to know how Christina was doing. After ending the call, TJ asked Molly about the message, curious why she hadn’t called Christina directly. Molly confessed that she had been keeping something from TJ.

Molly explained to TJ about Christina’s altercation with Dex and her reaction to it. TJ remained silent, wondering how long Molly had known about the incident. Molly explained that Blaze had told her about it a few days after their wedding. When TJ started to leave, Molly wondered where he was going. TJ claimed that someone needed to remind Christina that the baby she was careless with was theirs.

Molly protested, but TJ was resolute. He was worried that Christina’s behavior was dangerous to those around her, especially until the baby was born. TJ declared that Christina needed to stay away from her father. Molly reminded TJ that he risked putting her family on the defensive, which could push Christina to shut them out completely.

TJ argued that he and Molly were the baby’s parents, but Molly reminded him that Christina was the egg donor, making her the baby’s legal parent until she signed the adoption papers. Furious, TJ claimed they wouldn’t be in this position if they had hired a surrogate instead of using Christina. The argument heated up as TJ criticized Molly for pushing him to agree to Christina being their surrogate.

Molly tearfully reminded TJ that she had discussed it with him, but he argued that she hadn’t given him a choice. All she could see was how badly she wanted a baby. Molly admitted it had been a mistake to ask Christina for help. She started to say that she didn’t want to provoke Christina but caught herself. TJ asked what if Christina decided to back out and keep the baby for herself. Molly said there was nothing stopping her, and tears streamed down her face.

TJ knew Molly was right and admitted it was a painful situation. Molly cried because all they wanted was a baby. TJ said, “Be careful what you wish for, I guess.” He then told Molly he needed to get to the hospital. After TJ left, Molly broke down at Christina’s apartment.

Christina and Sonny’s Meeting

Blaize answered a knock at the door, and it was Sonny. After greeting Blaze, he asked if Christina was home. Christina entered the living room and stopped suddenly when she saw her father. Sonny asked if they could talk, and Christina agreed. Sonny entered and set a gift bag on the table as he and Christina exchanged small talk.
