General Hospital’s Next Move May Be Even More of a Jaw-Dropper Than Sam’s Death and Cody and Sasha’s Cousins Twist
Soon, there will be no such thing as “the status quo” on General Hospital. Unless we miss our mark, ABC’s daytime drama is about to pull the trigger on a game-changing storyline that will reignite Lulu and Brook Lynn’s feud and potentially break up the latter’s marriage.
The stage is already set. Even while applying for a job at Deception, Lulu couldn’t keep her snark in check with Brook Lynn.
Plus, with Sam now pushing up daisies, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that grieving fiancé Dante and former wife Lulu will gravitate toward one another. (They were, after all, thisclose to reuniting when the explosion at the Floating Rib blew that idea out of the water.)
But that’s just step one of the plan that we suspect is underway. Because the show has also laid the groundwork for the reveal that Gio is Dante and Brook Lynn’s long-lost son.
When the soap drops that bombshell, it’s anyone’s guess whether her marriage to Chase will survive — especially if old feelings for Dante are reawakened.
When the dust settles, we could be looking at a breakup for Brook Lynn and Chase and a nonstarter of a reunion for Lulu and Dante.
What will he have instead? A potential Brook Lynn/Dante pairing, Cody being maneuvered into place as a new love interest for his pal’s ex, Lulu, and a surprise romance for Chase and Sasha. (He wants to be a dad, and she just happens to be having a baby.)
