General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, April 8: Shocking Crash Leaves Lives Hanging – Carly Gets Devastating Call
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 8, reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will get a disturbing phone call and spill a shocker to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also make a surprising discovery, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
For starters, fans will see the aftermath of the car crash that just played out.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) got a bit distracted kissing Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) behind the wheel and then looked horrified once she put her eyes back on the road.
Jordan had to swerve to avoid a car coming at her, so Danny Morgan (Asher Antoynzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) were apparently inside it
Since Danny was talking about wanting to speed toward something fast, Charlotte offered to help out with that before this crash went down.
However, there could be another key player involved here since Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) got a phone call from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who summoned her to Charlie’s Pub for Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance.
The show really focused on the wine bottle and glass Brook Lynn left behind to highlight the fact that she’d been drinking.
Brook Lynn will make it to Charlie’s Pub in one piece, but what if she caused this accident and doesn’t realize it?
It’s possible that tipsy Brook Lynn veered over the line a bit and led to Charlotte trying to avoid her.
Charlotte may have lost control and veered toward Jordan’s vehicle next before this crash went down.
Whatever the case, Carly will get an unsettled phone call and ask what’s wrong, so Danny may call her with the crash news and admit Charlotte was involved in the accident, too.
It won’t be long until Carly and Valentin are in the car racing down the road next, so they may end up at the crash site or the hospital.
If Charlotte is injured, then you can bet Valentin will risk his freedom to make sure she’s OK.
As for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), she just summoned Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) for a house call since she’s concerned about Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) hand being infected.
Lulu already got Isaiah to agree to keep this visit between them, so he’ll come to the house and confirm Rocco indeed has an infection that needs to be dealt with.
That’ll leave Lulu with no choice but to take Rocco to the ER, where Charlotte may be taken soon enough.
Lulu may freak out when she realizes both of her kids have had to make hospital trips.
Brook Lynn obviously didn’t make it to Charlie’s Pub in time for Gio’s performance, so she’ll be apologetic.
Gio will admit it would’ve been nice to look out and see Brook Lynn in the audience, but he should’ve invited his bio mom if he wanted her there.
Since Gio will apologize to someone on Wednesday’s show, maybe he’ll be sorry he didn’t let Brook Lynn know about his performance in advance.
Over with Dante, he’ll quiz Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and whether there’s any additional information on her condition.
At Wyndemere, Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) try to smooth things over with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Cassius insisted telling Sidwell about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) killing Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) could end in disaster, especially if Sidwell doesn’t believe Britt.
Besides, Cullum controls the flow of Britt’s medication, so she won’t get any more doses if Sidwell eliminates him.
With all that in mind, Britt will have to act like she’s learned her lesson when she approaches Sidwell.
Britt will vow to do whatever Sidwell wants if he’ll let her live, so he may consider it.
That said, Sidwell may also warn Cassius that they’ll have to get rid of Britt permanently if she doesn’t deliver the prototype.
Of course, it’s also possible Sidwell will plan to get rid of Britt for good once the job is done since he won’t have much use for her then.
At some point, it looks like Ava will catch Cassius in a moment alone with Sidwell.
Ava will naturally assume Cassius is Nathan, so she’ll jokingly wonder if somebody is under arrest.
Sidwell may cover by insisting “Nathan” was just there to give him the latest information on the investigation into Marco’s demise.
General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell will ultimately make Ava his confidant again on Wednesday’s episode, but he’ll still be keeping plenty of secrets!
