General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Rebounds With Valentin and Carly Finds Out About Their Secret Tryst- Will She Tell Sonny the Truth?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) habitually blows up her life and then blames others for her misfortune.

As if she and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) couldn’t be any further from reconciling, Nina continues to spiral downward.  Nina has sex on the rebound with her old mate, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Nina feels frustrated by Sonny’s inability to forgive her.  She tried to have his baby mama, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), thrown in prison, and once again, Nina does something she can’t take back.

She and Valentin get together one evening to discuss their next moves against Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) over drinks at the Metro Court, and stupidly, they end up getting a room.

When they wake up in bed the next day, Nina immediately regrets her actions and tells Valentin it shouldn’t have happened.

While it is true that Nina still loves Sonny and wants to get back with him, Valentin has always carried a torch for his former flame. He never really got over Nina, and he thinks this could be the beginning of a new start for them.

Valentin is one of the few people on Nina’s side. While she values his friendship, she never meant to spend the night with him. She will never agree to give Sonny a divorce.

As Nina gets dressed and heads out the door, Valentin chases her downstairs, telling her how much the night before meant to him. Who happens to overhear them? Carly.

Considering the animosity between Carly and Nina, Carly has a lot to think about. Should she tell Sonny the truth, or will she decide it’s best to stay out of their business?

Sonny is also disappointed in Carly for her role in hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to protect him, and Sonny feels like his family thought that he couldn’t take care of himself.

While Nina’s betrayal is far worse, Carly will still wonder whether telling him is the right thing to do. She must also consider that Sonny values loyalty above all else, and he may appreciate hearing the truth from her.

Carly is also stunned by Nina’s actions and may even decide to confront her. If that happens, the two women could have an epic showdown.

Nina will automatically be on the defensive. She again finds herself in a similar position.  When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) found out that she turned his mom and Drew into the SEC, he blackmailed her.

Nina will want to know what Carly plans on doing with the information. Carly may tell her she has two options: Nina may tell Sonny about her and Valentin herself, or Carly will gladly do it.

One thing is for sure: Carly won’t want to see Sonny get played again by Nina. Nina may even try to bribe Carly, but she is done with blackmail and childish games.

Carly knows that if the roles were reversed, Sonny would tell Carly the truth. Sonny deserves the same courtesy and respect.
