Laura Collins has really been going through a period of darkness off-late, point General Hospital Spoilers. First, she lost her beloved Spencer to that horrid drowning with Esme. Then, Nikolas turned himself in and has been in prison ever since. However, the wheel of fortune is starting to finally turn in her favor!
We now have confirm news that Jonathan Jackson is indeed returning to GH as Lucky Spencer! So, Laura can finally have at least one of her children back with her in Port Charles. That is great news, isn’t it? But it also makes us wonder, why she really needs to be away from her children. Especially, when it is so unnecessary and can be easily fixed!
More so, in Lulu Spencer’s case. She has been comatose for literal centuries now. Yes, it made sense to write it so since the actresses who previously played her were out of the show. Moreover, GH has such a vast cast that some characters being offscreen to make space for others makes sense.
However, we think it’s time now to bring Lulu back to the land of the awake. Not only do fans miss her, but also from the story’s point of view. Her brother, Lucky Spencer, is finally going to be on the screen again, and that too for the long run. Nikolas can get freed from prison, and reunite with the family.
Above everything else, we feel Lulu’s daughter, Charlotte Cassadine, really needs her. We recently saw how far into the dark she has fallen. Moreover, with Valentin so involved in the Pikeman mess, we have a feeling he’s going to be taken down. Who will Charlotte have in her corner then? If this isn’t the time for Lulu to come around, then when will it be?
