General Hospital Spoilers: Comings & Goings – Mac Scorpio’s Return
Airdate, Welcome Back John J. York
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share, so we should discuss a return that many fans have been looking forward to. You’ve probably heard by now that Mac’s time off-screen was due to John J. York’s real-life health crisis.
Although York was diagnosed with two blood and bone marrow disorders, he’s received treatment in recent months and returned to the studio in May.
According to GH spoilers for the week of June 17-21, Mac will be back on-screen starting June 19.
The show wrote in a mission that Mac’s been tackling elsewhere, so he may have some stories to share from Argentina and anywhere else his assignment took him.
Of course, Mac will be glad to return home to all his family and friends. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will give Mac a warm welcome back – and so will viewers since we’ve certainly missed John J. York in the role.
Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will also keep up her efforts to get through to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and convince him to confess about his father-son deception.
There’s no word yet on when Cody might make an admission to Mac, but that day is no doubt coming.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will obviously be involved in Mac’s return as well, so it’ll be fun to see all the family reunions.
In other comings and goings news, Kin Shriner will pop back up as Scott Baldwin – and he won’t be alone! Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will appear too, so look for Lucy and Scott to put their heads together on something.
Finally, we should mention that Perez Hilton recently filmed some scenes as a guest star, so he’ll end up spreading some gossip and stirring up some trouble down the line.
As Hilton’s appearance gets closer, we’ll share more predictions on the drama he’ll create and updates on any other big news related to his role.
General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are brewing on the ABC soap, so stay tuned!
