Kaboom! Sonny’s halfbrother, Rick Hearst will soon make his much-awaited explosive comeback as Ric Lansing on General Hospital. Hearst’s return to the soap after his eight-year absence will definitely make the viewers happy. The 59-year-old Rick Hearst took to Instagram and announced his return.
GH fans will see him join the cast to play the suspicious attorney Ric Lansing. Furthermore, the character Ric is the black sheep brother and shady sibling of Maurice Benard’s Sonny. He is also the father of Kristen Vaganos’ Molly in the drama series.
On his Instagram post, he hints that his character’s return will bring some unexpected twists. So viewers, get ready to witness amazing twists and turns. He has also alluded to future plots involving Lansing. Undoubtedly, Lansing’s return to General Hospital will bring plenty of drama.
He has started filming the episodes today, which will begin airing in mid-August. Long-term viewers know that he is the only actor who originally played Lansing from 2002 to 2009.
