General Hospital: Bryan Craig Hints at Morgan Corinthos’ Comeback – Addresses Mystery Man’s Return
General Hospital fans were already speculating fast and furious when executive producer Frank Valentini revealed that a former cast member was returning to the soap and that fans would be excited to see him again. But now former cast member Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan) has thrown even more fuel on the fire with a couple of recent posts on Twitter/X!
With soap press covering the story about a former GH actor returning to the soap, Soap Opera Digest put together an article with a few options, including Morgan, Lucky, Alcazar, and Frisco. Replying to their Twitter/X post with the article, Craig wrote simply: “Who could it be…” And then, just under an hour later, he reposted the link himself with a thinking face emoji.
Naturally, that threw Soap Twitter into an uproar as many GH fans immediately hoped he was actually teasing his return to the soap while others warned that he’d better not be getting their hopes up. At this time, Craig has not responded to any of his fans to confirm or deny anything.
Craig found fame when he joined the cast of GH as a recast of Morgan Corinthos back in 2013. Before his exit in 2016, the talented performer earned four Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor, taking home the trophy in both 2016 and 2017.
Since leaving daytime, Craig has starred in primetime series like Valor, GrandHotel, and Good Trouble as well as films like American Fighter, Women Is Losers, and That’s Amor. His recent run as Joaquin Peréz on Good Trouble recently came to an end with that show’s final episode, so Craig would be available if GH wanted to bring Morgan back from the dead.
The last time viewers saw Morgan on GH was during a special episode in 2018 centered around Ava where she hallucinated a visit from her ex from beyond the grave. The character was killed off in a car bomb explosion back in 2016, though no body was ever found, which gave fans hope that he might one day return. Could that day be upon us?
