Did Days of Our Lives Just Hand Us an Exit — or Prepare Us for a Shocking Return?!
It looks like Holly’s finally had enough on Days of Our Lives. Sophia’s made her life miserable enough in Salem, that by the end of Tuesday’s episode, Holly called her mom in Paris and asked to move in. She’d rather live with Nicole than ever set foot in Salem again!
This doesn’t, of course, mean that it’s the end of Holly. Sophia’s plotting has been so reckless lately, she’s bound to be undone at any moment.
Chanel and Johnny know both they and Holly were set up — and it looks like Rafe may be helping them to figure out who’s behind it.
Then there’s Sarah who just got the news that Sophia’s abandoned baby is not Tate’s after all!
Doctor/patient confidentiality has been saving Sophia so far, but that goes out the window if Sarah believes Sophia’s a danger to others. And while we’re no legal experts, since Sophia nearly caused Holly’s death, we’re pretty sure that counts!
But regardless of how it goes down, Sophia may not be exposed before Holly skips town — which she’s set to do by Friday!
That has us wondering if she’ll find out the truth while in Paris and then decide to come home. And we can’t help but think of how cool it would be if she wasn’t alone: Namely, if her mom came with her!
Nicole wouldn’t even have to stay. She could just bring her daughter home and have a talk with Maggie and Brady and make sure her daughter’s OK.
Supposedly, she came back for Holly’s graduation, but we, of course, didn’t get to see her. But this time around, Nicole’s daughter is in serious emotional and mental turmoil and it would just feel weird if Mom stayed offscreen.
And with how much Sophia has in common with Nicole, what with all the baby drama and switching and scheming, we can only imagine what Holly’s mom would have to say to her. In fact, it’s tough to think how Holly would even keep Nicole from coming back to town to give Sophia and her parents a piece of her mind!
With that said, there hasn’t been much news on the legal front between Arianne Zucker and Days of Our Lives, so we aren’t hopeful about a return. But with so many folks returning for the show’s 60th anniversary celebration soon and with how big a part of Salem Nicole has been, we just can’t help but dream that somehow we’ll get to see Holly’s mom again.
