Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Brace Up Fans! Huge Storyline Change Coming Up, Reveals Ron Carlivati

The writer’s strike had landed the soap’s storytelling in the laps of temp writers, recall Days of Our Lives Spoilers. Although DOOL’s head writer Ron Carlivati and his team got back into the writer’s room in October 2023, their new writing still remained off-screen.

As many fans already know, the Peacock soap films months in advance, thus, the stories that we had been seeing before May 31, 2024, still were the ones penned by the temp writers. However, Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveals that the lot of those episodes has finally ended, and viewers will now be seeing episodes written by Ron and his team.

In a recent chat with TV Insider, Ron revealed that his super excited for his storylines to finally roll out again. Furthermore, he shared that he had not left any guide for the temp writers s they had actually just been stretching the stories that Ron had put in motion earlier. Although the stories that aired between Jan and May did not come from Ron’s material, he admitted.

“Those were not my stories. I had nothing to do with those,” Ron Carlivati said. But now that he has taken over, the old flavor is set to return, tease Days of Our Lives spoilers. In fact the changes have already begun! Ron divulged that according to the temp writer’s materials, Sloan was to exit without having a confrontation with Nicole.

But Ron thought that was pure “nuts”. Thus, that was the first thing he changed upon his return. And boy are we glad that he did? That Sloan-Nicole confrontation was everything! In fact, some may even look at it as a nod to the slap Sami gave Nicole for the same circumstances back in the day!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that all episodes airing from June 2, 2024, are the ones from Ron and his teams. The most prominent of those storylines include Eric finding out that he is Jude’s bio dad, and of course, the revelation about Xander being Victor’s secret son and not Alex!

The temp writers have already laid the foundations for Gabi’s release from jail. However, Ron is the one who has written the whole release arc. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that actress Cherie Jimenez is all set to enter the fold as recast Gabi sometime towards the end of June!
