Days of Our Lives Script Left Judi Evans Panicked & Crying – Why DOOL Star Feared Another Fatal Exit
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Judi Evans (Bonnie Kiriakis) got a script that left her panicked and crying – at least until she learned the whole truth! In an interview with SOD, the DOOL star opened up about why she feared another fatal exit from the show.
Of course, Days fans will recall that Judi Evans previously played Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis, who met a grim fate in a car crash. That was back when DOOL did all the time jump drama in 2019-2020.
It was sad to see Adrienne go, but the silver lining was that Evans had another character she could portray
Evans was able to keep playing Bonnie Kiriakis, but she grew worried when she got the script that had Bonnie tumbling down the elevator shaft.
“I was like, ‘Oh. They’re killing me off,’” Evans admitted as she took Days fans back to her thought process at the time.
It’s easy to see why Evans would jump to that conclusion since that was a truly terrible fall! Evans hadn’t heard what was coming in Bonnie’s storyline, so she was too afraid to ask the higher-ups for details.
The last time Evans pushed for more info, they told her they were killing off Adrienne. It left Evans concerned that she’d get the same news this time around, so she opted to just stay quiet and see how it all played out.
Until then, Evans went into panic mode as she awaited the next script and was left fretting over Bonnie’s future.
“I was panicked. I cried a little. I was so worried. I was freaking out, because you never know, and I was too terrified to ask,” Evans confessed.
Thankfully, Evans was able to breathe a sigh of relief once the next Days script finally came and she read that Bonnie survived.
Although Bonnie was pretty banged up, Judi Evans joked about her making an extremely speedy recovery. It won’t be long until Bonnie’s back to her old self, so we’ll bring you updates on what’s ahead for her character.
