Rachel Boyd debuts as Sophia Choi on Wednesday, February 12. The actress replaces Madelyn Kientz, who originated the character in 2024 and opted to exit the soap. Boyd’s credits include the film Boot Camp and the series Grand Army.
Shi Ne Nielson returns as Amy Choi, Sophia’s mother. Nielson airs on Friday, February 14, in scenes with Boyd and Leo Howard’s Tate.
Ros Gentle reappears as the Lady in White on Monday, February 10. She interacts with Stacy Haiduk’s Kristen and Tamara Braun’s Ava.
Bruce Beatty is back as Seth Burns. The hospital administrator and Body and Soul star interacts with Judi Evans’ Bonnie on Tuesday, February 11.
Kim Coles wrapped up her one-day visit as Whitley King. The psychotic nurse was sent back to the mental hospital after terrorizing the Body and Soul cast.
Convincing Amy Choi
During the week of February 10, expect the people of Salem to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
While Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) make plans, Sophia’s pregnancy might interfere with those plans. There is also the issue of Sophia’s mother, who takes control to a whole new level.
Tate and Sophia are thinking about adoption. The only problem is Sophia is pretty sure that Amy won’t approve of it.
Sophia reasons that Amy won’t want strangers raising the child. That is when Tate brought up that what if the family adopting was someone Amy knew and approved of.
Next week, expect Tate and Amy to try to convince Amy about adoption. However, we have a feeling that Amy will dig her heels in until Sophia does something truly desperate.
Back to Holly, she will have a heart-to-heart with Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Over with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer), he gets bad news from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Saving Ava Vitali
Over with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), expect Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to discover Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) little secret on DOOL.
Kristen begins to untie Ava, but then the Woman in White interrupts. So, is this woman really Kristen’s mother? How will Kristen react to this bombshell discovery? Later in the week, EJ searches the Blake residence. Will EJ find Ava or the Woman in White?
Meanwhile, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) team up to find Ava.
