The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 1, reveal that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be in deep trouble while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) keeps secrets from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Although Victor is willing to form a temporary alliance with Jack, that doesn’t mean there’s trust on either side.

Jack and Victor are now teaming up against Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), but Victor will still keep a few things to himself!

If Jack feels like Victor is holding back, that’ll no doubt be frustrating.

However, Jack knows joining forces with Victor comes with risks and complications, so he’s fully aware of what he’s getting into here.

As for Michael, he seems poised to land in more trouble.

Cane fired Michael and shut down his efforts to work from the inside, so Michael will have to shift his strategy and come at Cane from the outside instead.

Of course, Michael will get updates on Jack and Victor’s alliance at some point, so he may worry this could end in disaster if he doesn’t play referee.

Y&R fans will see Michael get thrown back into Newman-Abbott drama, which is the last thing Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) wants.

Lauren made it clear that she won’t tolerate any more secrets or lies, but Michael may be cagey once again.

A fed-up Lauren will eventually unload all her fears and concerns during a conversation with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as Crimson Lights.

With Lauren’s marriage barely hanging on, she’ll put Nikki in a tight spot.

Lauren may push Nikki to spill whatever news Michael’s holding back and leave Nikki wondering what she should do next.

In the meantime, Cane had better be ready for the storm that’s brewing!

Since Cane’s going to have multiple enemies coming at him from all different angles, his Genoa City takeover plans could take a hit if he doesn’t strike first.
