Big Reveal!! Kin Shriner Drops Explosive Bombshell About Sudden Soap Character Exits!

General Hospital’s Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) has been a part of soap operas for decades. Kin has certainly seen his share of disappearing characters that return just as fast as they leave.

However, Shriner recently discussed how long term character are being treated. Shriner also discusses his latest soap scenes.

General Hospital Spoilers – Scott Baldwin Has Been MIA For A While

Shriner has been playing Scott on and off since 1977. Scott has been on screen long term and then left only to come back later down the road.

Scott was also a character on Port Charles, a spinoff of General Hospital. Several other General Hospital characters appeared on Port Charles as well before it was canceled.

Scott was last seen in August when he helped the pharmacist that messed with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bipolar medications hide out from Sonny.

Of course, Scott was working with his former son-in-law Jagger Cates (Adam J Harrington) who was planning to arrest the pharmacist and protect him from Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Scott Baldwin Faces Jason Morgan

Scott got into a confrontation with Jason when he went to move the pharmacist to Wyndemere. However, Scott ran off and hasn’t been seen since.

Shriner took to social media to share that Scott is gone after his last appearance. Someone else commented that the sooner Scott returns the better. How long will it be before Scott returns.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Long Running Character Aren’t Respected

Baldwin posted on September 30, “When I came on @GeneralHospital in 1977 the actors that were there and kept the show on the airfor 14 years I held in the highest esteem. Now the long running characters have no respect…. but times have change !” Shriner’s post hand fans talking about scenes from years ago.

Scott also posted a photo of his onscreen parents, Peter Hansen and Susan Brown. Shriner also posted on X, 2 of the many actors that made it possible for me to have a 47 year run on @GeneralHospital and 7 other soaps. Time to do the other things I missed out on while trying to keep Scotty relevant to now !!!!!”

Shriner later posted, “Well Scotty did ad lib his last 2 lines about glazed donuts so if that’s the end of @GeneralHospital I did it my way like Sinatra. “

Shriner was referring to his last two lines on the show, “I’ll tell you what, I’ll get us some glazed doughnuts and coffee, so sit tight, I’ll be back!” Of course, he didn’t mean coming back for the pharmacist.
