Major Shakeup At Days Of Our Lives
Some of the biggest drama in Salem has happened off-screen. Last summer news broke that producer Albert Alarr was under investigation amid multiple complaints of abusive and inappropriate behavior. Production on the long-running daytime soap came to a halt during the investigation. Alarr was later fired.
Actress Arianne Zucker, who has played Nicole Walker since 2008, subsequently filed a lawsuit against the former producer and Corday Productions, alleging sexual harassment from Alarr. The lawsuit is still pending.

Arianne Zucker Shares Intimate Glimpse At Wedding
DOOL fans won’t see Arianne Zucker or Nicole Walker on the soap for much longer. The actress was let go earlier this year. She already taped her final scenes on the soap and they are scheduled to air later this month. Exactly how Nicole exits Salem remains a mystery, but the actress confirmed the character isn’t being killed off.
In happier news, Zucker has already booked her next role. Her next acting role, that is. Her next personal role will be wife. She’s been engaged to former DOOL co-star Shawn Christian since 2021. He played Daniel.
The two met on the soap but didn’t start dating for several years after he joined the show. They’ve been in a relationship for a decade. She revealed on social media in May that the wedding planning was moving along and they finally had a wedding destination. They also have a date, but she didn’t share that information.
The daytime vet returned to Instagram this week to share an intimate look at a big part of the wedding tradition: the bridal shower. While she just posted about it, the bridal shower actually happened in June. A group of her close friends celebrated her upcoming wedding at a luxury hotel in California.
In the caption, the actress thanked her bff for throwing the party and her family and friends for attending. “It’s all happening!”
