B&B Spoilers: Poppy’s Drunk-Driving Accident – Is B&B Setting Up a Tragic Twist?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) could potentially land in a drunk-driving accident. Is B&B setting up a tragic twist now that Poppy’s world is about to spin out?

In the February 24 episode, Poppy guzzled plenty of booze, which was an abrupt change for her character.

The show’s always highlighted the fact that Poppy wasn’t a drinker to explain why she turned to special mints instead.

However, Poppy swore off the drugs, so she’s decided to drink after all.

Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) poured multiple glasses of wine for Poppy, who was clearly trying to drown her sorrows at Il Giardino’s bar.

Of course, we have to consider whether Poppy might develop a drinking problem as she struggles to cope.

The worst is still to come for Poppy since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) don’t know the paternity truth yet.

Poppy’s nerves are no doubt part of why she’s drinking now, but she may drink even more once Li’s fury erupts.

The progress that the sisters have made will be wiped out in an instant once Li discovers Poppy slept with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

You can bet Li will be outraged over Poppy getting pregnant by Finn and hiding it all these years.

Luna will also be livid over Poppy keeping this Finn father secret buried for so long.

Poppy thought she was doing what was best for everyone, but she made a giant mess – and now she finally has to face the consequences.

Naturally, Poppy will also have to deal with some anger from people like Sheila, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

There’ll be no escaping all the negative opinions and fierce outbursts once Luna’s paternity news spreads beyond just Finn and Steffy.

It’s just a matter of time until Poppy’s cover-up completely falls apart – and that’s going to lead to some backlash that’s difficult to handle.

Poppy may keep trying to find relief at the bottom of a bottle as this storyline moves along.

It’s easy to imagine Poppy becoming an alcoholic under the circumstances. That could set the stage for more terrible decisions since Poppy is known for making those!

Will Poppy get behind the wheel after having too much to drink? Could Poppy land in a drunk-driving accident that injures her or perhaps someone else?

Regardless, B&B has introduced the possibility of more trouble now that Poppy’s suddenly drinking when she didn’t before.

Once everyone gets updates on Luna’s paternity, Poppy could drink herself into oblivion and really go off the rails.
