Could This Woman Be Kyle’s Shocking New Love Interest on Y&R
Kyle is feeling the heartache after his breakup with Claire on The Young and the Restless. While he wants to reunite with Claire, he might find unexpected love with another woman. And his new love interest could lead to more pain for Claire.
Healing Broken Hearts
Kyle (Michael Mealor) has certainly made a mess of things with Claire (Hayley Erin). His lies about the kiss with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and the contract with Victor (Eric Braeden) had Claire reaching her breaking point.
She’s now leaving Kyle in the dust and embarking on a new adventure with Holden (Nathan Owens).
However, Kyle isn’t giving up without a fight. He’s determined to win back Claire and is turning to her mother, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), for help.
Victoria and Kyle have been sharing more scenes together as she advises him on his relationship with Claire. While it could be nothing more than friendly chat, whenever two characters are in a scene together, chances are romance is on the horizon.
Victoria is single again following Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) untimely death. Although she’s still grieving, she could find love when she and Kyle commiserate over their broken hearts.
Mother/Daughter Betrayals
Victoria and Claire sleeping with the same man seems far-fetched, however, it has happened on Y&R. Who can forget Ashley (Eileen Davidson) giving up Stitch (Sean Carrigan) so her daughter Abby (Melissa Ordway) could be happy?
Plus, Victoria’s been in a few of these situations before. In the early 90s, Cole had an affair with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) before becoming involved with Victoria. But Cole isn’t the only man both Victoria and Nikki shared.
In 2006, Victoria married Brad (Don Diamont), who years earlier was engaged to her mother. Victoria and Brad’s marriage later ended because of her affair with J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), the boyfriend of her stepdaughter, Colleen (Tammin Sursok).
Although it seems unlikely Victoria would betray Claire in that way, stranger things have happened. Victoria taking Kyle from Claire would make good drama and drive a wedge between mother and daughter. Victoria and Kyle’s betrayal would send Claire over the edge. With Claire returning to the dark side, it’s going to be trouble for her mother and ex-boyfriend.
