General Hospital fans recently saw the return of Lulu Spencer. Following a liver donation, and the death of Sam McCall, Lulu woke up from a coma that had lasted years on the soap. According to a preview, Port Charles isn’t like how Lulu remembered it.
A Few Years Can Certainly Make A Difference In Port Charles
Lulu Spencer is the daughter of Luke and Laura Spencer. Played by various actresses over the years, Alexa Havins is the most recent actress to play the character. Over the past few years on the soap, she has been in a coma.
However, recent events on the soap saw her awaken. When it was revealed that a liver donation could revive her, Sam McCall became her donor, with the character passing away soon afterwards.
In the recent November 27 episode, Lulu heads to the Quartermaines and encounters her son Rocco, her son with Det. Dante Falconeri. Not only is Rocco emotional at seeing her, Lulu seems to recognize him, calling him by name.
One storyline to explore is if Lulu realizes just how much time has passed since she fell into a coma. Notably, as previously reported, it was timely that she both fell into a coma and woke up in the month of November, albeit in different years.
Lulu’s mother Laura has returned and is told by Lucky that her daughter has escaped after waking from her coma. Meanwhile, Ava and Kristina are waiting on the jury’s decision on their current court case. Jason plans to move into the Quartermaines, which may spur his brother and leave with his daughter Scout.
As noted by Michael Fairman TV, a preview for the December 2 episode reads, “Lulu is in for several shocks. Lucky delivers news to Laura. TJ and Molly make a big decision. Alexis and Ric have it out. Jason’s announcement rocks Drew.”
Fans Are Already Speculating What Will Happen Next
As the publication noted, Laura is expected to take a prominent role in the week’s stories. Notably, in the December 4th episode, she is said to be breaking some “bad news.” Earlier, she will also find a confidant in Anna.
There will also be some fallout concerning Sam’s death. The December 6th episode’s preview notes that, “Elizabeth is determined to get answers about Sam.”
Taking to the comments, many fans are speculating what will happen next. Some suspect there will be a significant reunion between her and Dante. Others would like to see some development in Lulu and Cody’s relationship.
As one user wrote, “Now that I’ve seen the interaction between Cody and Lulu, I’m all for this pairing, they really go good together.” Another wrote, “Dante will feel guilty for Sam dying saving Lulu, so I don’t see a reunion for Dante yet. You know Tracy is going to try to get Cody and Lulu together. It will be interesting seeing all the drama in the Q. mansion.”
